PROGENY PART 1 - INSEPARABLE The Crime Doctor is in peril. Having reached out to Oracle with the intention of defecting from The Society, Clayface, Killer Croc, and the Ventriloquist are dispatched to thwart him. Oracle deploys Huntress for his protection, and she successfully extricates him with aid from Oracle's new agent, Lady Shiva, who has adopted the moniker Jade Canary. As Oracle contemplates Shiva's unstable tendencies, the Crime Doctor discloses an alarming development - his daughter is now a target of The Society. Oracle reveals the deployment of another new agent to back up Huntress and Jade Canary, as the ethereal silhouette of a woman starts to materialize. Concurrently, in the jungles of Vietnam, Black Canary is surrendered to an elderly woman who demands to be addressed as Mother. She renames Black Canary 'Tag' and ushers her into a grueling existence. Tag meets Sin, a young girl, but is abruptly separated, blindfolded, and subjected to a brutal assault by Li and his brothers. Mother assigns Sin to guard Tag's inert form, and Sin declares Tag her sister.
