In Rhinebeck, New York, an annual celebration takes place to honor Sinterklaas, the inspiration behind the legend of Santa Claus. As a figure who rewards good children and punishes bad ones, Sinterklaas is portrayed by a sinister spirit this year, instead of a man in a costume. The Ghostbusters are called upon to save the town's children from this malevolent force, in the ongoing Happy Horror Days event.
