Upon realizing that McLoon is an ally, Bob and Elspeth team up with him to thwart a government faction's attempt to assassinate Bob and eliminate Elspeth for her knowledge of the lost caveman. Additionally, Elspeth's father, in pursuit of his absent daughter, discovers that the serviceman he has unwittingly employed is far more extraordinary than he appears.
