New Years Evil: Darkseid #1

On Apokolips, Granny Goodness and Desaad survey the city, concerned about the populace's belief that Darkseid has perished. When Granny questions Desaad's fidelity to Darkseid, he erupts in fury and assaults her, only to be subdued by the recently arrived Kanto. Subsequently, the imperial city comes under assault from a squadron of Deathwings commanded by Vundabar.
