Warlock and the Infinity Watch #24

In "Trial," the Infinity Watch, along with Doctor Strange and the Silver Surfer, are captured by Asgard's trolls and brought to Castle Grimlock, the stronghold of King Geirrodur. They are destined to be offerings to the colossal entity known as Borgeddon. However, the witch counselor recognizes troll blood in Pip. Upon awakening, Pip learns that his troll heritage grants him a chance to battle for his life. He is permitted to nominate a companion to fight in his stead, and he selects Adam. Adam Warlock faces the arena without weapons or powers, as their use would result in Moondragon's death. Despite the restrictions, Adam triumphs over Olik, Ulik's brother, while Pip executes a strategy imparted by Adam through the Soul Gem. As Moondragon faces peril, the other captives are freed, enabling their collective escape.
